Who am I?
I am a story teller. Since I received my first camera when I graduated from high school, I have been telling stories through photography. Stories of people. Stories of communities. Stories of cities and places, personalities, and relationships.
Today, more than 20 years later, I understand to my core the way that place defines and enhances our experiences. I live in the same house where I grew up and I have the incredible gift of seeing my children walk the same streets, sleep in the same brownstone, and thrive in the same community where I have been grounded throughout my life.
My story includes chapters in other parts of this country and the world including in Ecuador, a country that is part of my children's own story too. Back in my native Brooklyn, I now have the enormous privilege of helping my clients preserve their legacies through museum quality photography capturing the unique joy, love, warmth, and beauty that define their own extraordinary stories.
